CONTRATOS POSTDOCTORALES BEATRIU DE PINÓS

Se busca un candidato/a altamente motivado/a que cumpla los requisitos para solicitar un contrato Beatriu de Pinós (http://www10.gencat.cat/agaur_web/AppJava/castellano/a_beca.jsp?categoria=postdoctorals&id_beca=18342).

REQUISITOS DE LOS CANDIDATOS:

- Haber obtenido el título de doctorado entre el 1 de enero de 2006 y el 31 de diciembre de 2010 (se entiende como fecha de obtención del doctorado la fecha de lectura y aprobación de la tesis).

- Haber realizado o estar realizando una estancia posdoctoral en un país diferente al de la obtención del título de doctorado y fuera del Estado español por un periodo mínimo de dos años. Esta estancia posdoctoral se deberá haber completado en el momento de incorporarse a la entidad.

- No haber trabajado más de 12 meses seguidos en el centro receptor en el momento de presentar la solicitud (Este período se refiere a los 12 meses inmediatamente anteriores al momento de presentar la solicitud).

- Buen record de publicaciones en el campo de la oncología molecular.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LOS CONTRATOS:

- Dos años de contrato laboral

- Un sueldo de 28.912,92 euros brutos anuales durante el primer año y de 29.924,87 euros brutos anuales durante el segundo año.

- Ambiente académico activo y estimulante

El candidato se incorporaría al Grupo de Oncología Molecular del Instituto de Investigaciones Vall d’Hbrón/CIBBIM (http://www.vhir.org/gr/nanomolecularoncology) previsiblemente en la segunda mitad del año 2012. El candidato trabajará en la identificación de nuevos marcadores moleculares de pronóstico y respuesta a tratamiento para pacientes con cáncer colorrectal usando un amplio abanico de técnicas en el campo de la biología celular y molecular, con trabajos in vitro, modelos animales y colecciones de muestras clínicas.

POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS

We are currently looking for highly motivated candidates to apply for a Postdoctoral position funded by the ‘Beatriu de Pinós’ Program of the European Union and the Catalan Government (http://www10.gencat.cat/agaur_web/AppJava/castellano/a_beca.jsp?categoria=postdoctorals&id_beca=18342).

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD:

- Have obtained the title of doctor after January 1, 2006 (the date the PhD was obtained is understood to be that on which the thesis was defended and approved).

- Have completed or be on a postdoctoral stay in an organization outside of Spain for a minimum period of two years. This postdoctoral stay should have been completed when the beneficiary joins the organization.

- Not have worked for more than 12 consecutive months in the host center when joining the applicant organization.

- Good publication record in the field of Molecular Oncology.

WE OFFER:

- Postdoctoral position for two years
- The gross salary for the first year will be  28,912 euros 29,924 euros for the second year.

The successful candidate will join the Group of Molecular Oncology of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute/CIBBIM (see http://www.vhir.org/gr/nanomolecularoncology) on the second half of 2012. The candidate will work on the identification of new biomarkers of prognosis and response to treatment for colorectal cancer using a variety of cell/molecular biology techniques including in vitro systems, animal models and large tumor collections.
