POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN NEUROCHEMISTRY AND NEURODEGENERATION
University of the Basque Country. Bilbao. Spain.
Dept. Pharmacology. Faculty of Medicine.
Research lines:
- Neurochemistry of neurodegenerative diseases; Alzheimer.
(GPCR, autorradiography, immunohistochemistry, organotypic cultures, western blotting, learning test for rodents...).
- R+D in new analytical techniques applied to Neuropharmacology and drug discovery.
(Cell membranes microarrays, Imaging by mass spectrometry –IMS-, MALDI-TOF...).
Contract:
- Up to four years in a research project in collaboration with IMG Pharma Biotech LC. www.imgpharma.com.
- Salary up to 35K€/year, gross (before Taxes) depending on CV.
Requirements:
- Competitive CV, experience and record of publications in neuroscience/pharmacology (neurochemistry).
- Preferably ≥5 years postdoctoral experience (≥2 years not in Spain).
- Enthusiastic to work in the research lines of the group and supervise PhD students.
- Similar experience and requirements that apply for a "Ramon y Cajal" Contract (Spanish Ministry for Science).
