One
post-doctoral position is immediately available in the UMR CNRS 6236 in the
team "Pathophysiology of Infectious Diseases" (Marseilles, France). It
will start on Summer 2011. The project
will consist of the study of the evolution of gene expression in human
macrophages in response to several agonists (cytokines, bacteria) and in
pathological conditions. To reach this objective, the candidate will construct
gene networks and develop methods to
compare them. The project will be at the interface between Biology and Physics
and will involve two laboratories, UMR CNRS 6236 and the Center for Theoretical
Physics Marseille, France). The duration of the post-doc is 12 months and the
salary will be 1900 euros per month. The
candidates should have a double expertise: Biology and Bioinformatics. They should send a CV with the publications
and all the informations useful to evaluate the application (deadline: April,
15, 2011).
