We offer a contract research job for 1 year extendable up to 3, in the area of ultrafast laser spectroscopy and single molecule microscopy applied to the study of the dynamics of chemical reactions catalyzed by a new generation of catalysts. These studies are part of the project: “Development of more efficient catalysts for the design of sustainable chemical processes and clean energy production” (CSD-0050-MULTICAT). The contract job will start immediately. This work will be done in the area of Chemical Physics, Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Biochemistry (Toledo) UCLM, under the supervision of Professor Abderrazzak Douhal Alaui. Our research group currently consists of eight doctors and three PhD students. We offer a cutting-edge research project on ultrafast spectroscopy and single molecule spectroscopy of nanosystems as well as comprehensive training in several spectroscopic techniques.

The main techniques to be used in this project will be:
- Fluorescente spectroscopy using time correlated single photon counting spectroscopy with picosecond resolution.
- Femtosecond fluorescence up-copnversion.
- Picosecond time-resolved single molecules spectroscopy.
