Role of the CHD7 chromatin remodeller in cardiovascular development
 
UCL Institute of Child Health Molecular Medicine Unit
 
The Molecular Medicine Unit specialises in developmental genetics, with a particular emphasis on understanding human congenital malformation syndromes and what they can tell us about biological processes.   The project aim is to understand the role of the chromatin remodelling protein CHD7 in development and transcriptional control, particularly as it relates to the cardiovascular system and human CHARGE syndrome.
 
The post is funded by the BHF until 31 December 2014 at Grade 7 Salary (inclusive of London allowance) £32,055 - £37,701 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
