Post Doc position in Bioinformatics (Heidelberg)

The SYSCILIA project is “a systems biology approach to dissect cilia function and its disruption in human genetic disease”. It is a large-scale, integrating project funded by the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under the Health Cooperation Programme and brings together 18 partners from seven different countries.


SYSCILIA is currently seeking a Post-doc in Bioinformatics, with the following responsibilities:
● Analysis of protein-protein interactions and higher-order complexes
● Developing software tools and web services for experimental partners
● Data management and front-end tools for accessing and integrating data
● Meeting and collaborating with experimental partners
● Summarising and presenting analyses and predictions to experimental partners


Requirements:
● Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or similar
● Experience in some of the following:
○ Studies of Interaction networks
○ Protein structure analysis/modelling
○ Database construction
○ Analysis of large datasets
