Ph.D. or M.S. positions available in ACCIÓN programThree fully
funded graduate student fellowships are available at the University at
Albany, State University of New York through an initiative funded by the
US State Department. The students are expected to participate in an
international and interdisciplinary program called ACCIÓN
(Andean Climate Change Interamerican Observatory Network) to study
aspects of current and future climate change and glacier retreat in the
Andes. The students will work toward a M.S or Ph.D. degree under the
guidance of Prof.Mathias Vuille in the Department of Atmospheric and
Environmental Sciences (DAES, www.atmos.albany.edu>),
in collaboration with partner institutions in South America and
Europe.In order to be eligible students must be citizens of Chile, Peru,
Ecuador or Colombia, pass the English TOEFL or IELTS test and have a
B.S. or M.S. degree in a science discipline (preferably Atmospheric
Science, Environmental Science or Physics).Interested students should
