A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AT THE INSTITUTE OF NANOSCIENCE OF ARAGON, SPAIN

An exciting R&D job opportunity is available in the context of the European Project NANOVALID, entitled "Development of reference methods for hazard identification, risk assessment and LCA of engineered nanomaterials”

Project description: The main objective of NanoValid is to develop a set of reliable reference methods and materials, including methods for dispersion control and the labeling of ENMs.

Research centre:
The Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon (http://ina.unizar.es) is committed to performing excellent research on the fundamental and applied aspects of Nanoscience. It offers a highly interdisciplinary research environment, with state of the art synthesis and characterization instruments.

Research profiles sought:
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or Industrial Engineering, and previous experience in one or more of the following fields:
-       Syntesis and characaterization of nanomaterials.
-       Nanomaterials-related risks, safe handling of nanomaterials.
-       Nanoparticle counting, aerosol characterization.
-       Behavious of aerosols: generation, dispersion, aggregation.

Información complementaria de la oferta:
Conditions:
-       1-year initial contract with the possibility of extension with yearly contracts, up to the end of the project.
-       Salary, social security, etc. according to Spanish university standards.
-       Position available on December 2011.
