The Institut Pasteur calls in 2011 to candidature for postdoctoral grant in the Institut Pasteur International Network.

 

For this first edition in 2011, the Institut Pasteur will finance one postdoctoral fellowship for a duration of two years to allow young researchers to realize their postdoctoral training in an institute of the Institut Pasteur International Network (RIIP) except metropolitan France. This fellowship aims at promoting and facilitating the realization of postdoctoral traineeship of French and foreign researchers in a laboratory of the RIIP.

Fellowship areas may include all themes developed in the laboratories of the RIIP: research and surveillance of infectious diseases (physiopathology, immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, virology, parasitology).

 

The applicant must have a PhD and less than 35 years. A Selection committee will decide on the allocation of this postdoctoral fellowship according to the relevance of the project, the goals of the training and on the file of the candidates. Before applying for the fellowship, candidates have to find a host laboratory in the international network and a project.

RIIP-Info : Appel à candidature - Bourse postdoctorale au sein du Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur

 

L’Institut Pasteur lance un Appel à candidature 2011 pour une bourse postdoctorale au sein du Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur.

 

Pour cette première édition, l’Institut Pasteur financera une bourse postdoctorale pour une durée de deux ans afin de permettre à de jeunes chercheurs de réaliser leur stage de postdoctorat au sein d'un institut du Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur (RIIP) hors France métropolitaine. Ces bourses postdoctorales ont pour but de promouvoir et faciliter la réalisation de stages de postdoctorat de chercheurs français et étrangers dans un laboratoire du RIIP. La thématique du stage peut porter  sur toutes les thématiques développées dans les laboratoires des instituts du RIIP : la recherche et la surveillance des maladies infectieuses (physiopathologie,

immunologie, microbiologie, épidémiologie, virologie, parasitologie).

 

Le candidat doit être titulaire d’un Doctorat en Sciences (PhD) et avoir moins de 35 ans. Un Comité de Sélection décidera de l’attribution de cette Bourse postdoctorale en fonction de la pertinence du projet, des objectifs du stage et du dossier des candidats.

La première étape consiste à trouver un laboratoire d’accueil au sein du RIIP et un projet.

 

La date limite de candidature est fixée au 10 juillet 2011.
