Durham Santander Scholarships for Outstanding Candidates from Latin America

Durham Santander Scholarships

In partnership with Banco Santander, Durham University will be awarding 7 postgraduate scholarships to outstanding candidates from Latin America.

Each scholarship is worth £5000 and will be open to students applying to study a taught masters degree* in any discipline starting in October 2011

*(Excludes MRes and Masters by Research)

Eligible countries:

• Argentina
• Bolivia
• Brazil
• Chile
• Colombia
• Mexico
• Paraguay
• Peru
• Puerto Rico
• Uruguay
• Venezuela 

In order to apply you must be:

• Holding a conditional or unconditional offer for study on a postgraduate taught masters course from Durham University before 30th April 2011
• Intending to start your course of study in October 2011
• A national from and residing in one of the above listed countries
• Liable to pay fees at the overseas student rate 

Application procedure

• All students who meet the above criteria will automatically be considered for the scholarship
• This is a competition and all awards will be based on academic excellence

Successful applicants

• All successful applicants will be contacted in writing four weeks after the closing date of the 30th April 2011
