A Wellcome Trust workshop providing training in the latest genome analysis software (Artemis and ACT) developed at the Wellcome Trust Sanger  Institute Pathogen Sequencing Unit.

Programme elements include:

• introduction to genomics and Artemis

• de novo sequence analysis

• database and motif searches

• sequence analysis on a larger scale

• comparative genomics and Web-based resources.

There is no fee for academics and bursaries are available

for travel and accommodation costs (awarded on merit).
